腹筋時、チャーチル元首相のラジオ演説CD

イギリスのチャーチル首相のラジオ演説がギッシリ
つまったCDを見つけたので 4月頃買いました。
それ以来、ほぼ毎日

朝起きて腹筋をするときの BGMとして聞いています。
（暑い夏は挫けましたが・・・）

「最も偉大なイギリス人」たる由縁が、
この CDを聞いていると分かってきますね。
不屈の人です。
戦時下の国民を強い意志で励ましています。
　
　
演説が活字になった本も
同時に購入しているのですが、これはいつもの通り
“積ん読”状態のままです。

サッチャー首相の演説集や首相在任中の自伝と同じ運命です（爆笑）

まあ、ノーベル賞をとった
「第二次世界大戦回想録」というチャーチルの名著を
英語で読もうと考えていた時期もあったのですが、
ものすごい量なので、たぶん読み切れないだろうと思って
躊躇していたんです。

そうしたら、このコンパクトな演説集と CDが
ネットで売っていたので、即購入したんです。
コンパクトにまとまっていて最高です！

タイトルになっている
「Never Give In!」は有名なことばですよね。

「絶対に屈服してはならない。絶対に、絶対に、絶対に、絶対に」
Never give in. Never. Never. Never. Never.

I bought a CD which is filled with a radio address by Winston Churchill, the former British Prime Minister, for I found it around April. Since then, I have been listening to it as BGM while I do sit-ups every morning. I gave it way during the hot summer though.

I could realize the reason why he is called "the greatest British" as I listen to this CD. He was a man with indomitable spirit. He encouraged his people during the war time with his strong will.

At the same time, I also bought a book which has the printed address, but I haven't read it yet same as always. I have done the same thing to "the address" and "the autobiography" of Prime Minister Thatcher!

Well, there was a time in which I wanted to read in English his great book, "The Second World War," which received the Nobel Prize. However, I hesitated to read this thick book because I probably wouldn't be able to read it through.

Then, I found that the collection of his addresses and its CD version were being sold on the Internet. I immediately bought them. They're compact, and I absolutely love it.

The title of the book "Never Give In!" is a famous phrase, isn't it?

"Never give in. Never. Never. Never. Never."
