TOEIC 自己ベスト６３０点！！！！

「【テスト結果表示】第169回TOEIC公開テスト 2012年03月18日（日）」
というタイトルのメールが TOEICから届きました。

今回のスコアを見るために
TOEICの公式サイトにログインするときは、
心臓がドキドキしました。
すっごく緊張しました。

"テスト結果表示"というリンクをクリックしました。

やったー
バンザーイ！！！！

６３０点！！

自己ベスト～！！！！

涙がこぼれそうです。
うれしいです。

リスニング 325点。
リーディング 305点。
合計 630点！！

昨年5月26日の過去最高の 585点から
なんと45点アップ！
リスニング、リーディングとも過去最高点で
見事 600点台に乗せました！

正直、自分で言うのも変ですが、
自分を磨くため、会社を前進させるため、
そして世界へ飛び出すため、
英語習得に相当時間を割いて頑張っているので
素直にうれしいです。
感動しています！！

自己ベスト TOEIC 630点の証し

でも、冷静に過去のスコアを見てみると
だいぶ実力が付いてきていることは確かですね。

いろいろな人の話を見たり、聞いたりしても
語学は一気には上達しないということですので、
引き続き、地道な努力で着実に英語力を高めていきたいと思います。

"成功曲線"といって、
ある一定期間まではちょっとづつしか結果が出ないけれども、
ある時点を境に急激に結果が出始めるという法則があるそうです。
英語の勉強は始めても最初はなかなか成果がでず、
順調に右肩上がりにはいかないようなのです。

でも、その時期に諦めず粘り強く勉強し続けると、
ある地点から目に見えて成果が上がってくるそうなんです。

自己分析でも僕の英語は今、この成功曲線が
跳ね上がる直前に位置していると思いますので、
ここで諦めたら本当にもったいないです。
今までの努力が水の泡です。

そして、せっかく TOEICを今まで10回も受けて
自分の英語力を客観的に測定し続けているわけですから、
このテストをうまくモチベーションアップに利用して、
英語習得を諦めないようにします。
TOEICに貢ぎ続けるのもイヤだなとは思いますが、
これからも毎年数回は受けに行きます。

ちなみに、次回 5月27日(日)はなんと
山梨県都留市の都留文科大学の会場をわざわざ選びました。
プチ旅行気分で電車で山梨に遠征して、
気持ちに変化をつけたいと思っています。

この日は僕のおじいちゃんの命日でもあるので、

悲願の700点突破も同時に実現したいと思います。

I have received an E-mail from TOEIC titled "[Display of test result] 169th TOEIC Test on Sunday march 18th, 2012"

When I logged in the TOEIC site for checking my score of this time, my heart was beating so fast. I was so nervous when I clicked on the link of "display of test result"."

I got it! I'm very very glad! Yeah, I've got it!

My score is 630 points! It's my best score I've ever had.

I feel like crying with joy. I'm quite happy.

I got 325 points in listening part, 305 in reading, and 630 in total!.

Finally, my TOEIC score increased 45 points, from 585, my last best scores of May 26th last year! Both listening and reading sections are the highest score I've ever got. I could pass 600 points, which is such an outstanding result of mine!

It feels a little bit awkward to say this myself, but I'm just so delighted since I have spend a lot of time studying English so hard to be able to use it more freely for self-improvement, my company's progress and my world-wide carrier. I'm super excited!

It's my testimony of my best TOEIC score, 630 points.

I'm sure that my English skills have improved when I look at my past scores calmly.

However, as I read and hear various people saying, language skills are not acquired swiftly. I'd like to continue to learn English, achieving steady improvement by steady effort.

There is a rule, named the "curve of success", which states that results appear very slowly at first, but that progress becomes very rapid as time goes on. When we start to learn English, we have a hard time to achieve good results at first, and don't see much improvement.

However, if we learn tenaciously without giving up, after a while our study results should show.

According to my self analysis, my English skill is gradually going up on my learning curve, and just about reaching its final phase. Therefore, if I quit studying English at this point, it would be such a waster. My continuous efforts will go down the drain.

I have taken TOEIC tests ten times to measure my English skill objectively. I'm going to increase my motivation by utilising these tests and not to give up studying English. I don't like to continue to invest a lot of money into TOEIC, but I will take these tests a few times a year to measure my English ability.

Incidentally, I chose Tsuru-Bunka-University in Tsuru City, Yamanashi Prefecture, as the venue for our next time on Sunday May 27th, quite deliberately. I want to refresh my mind by taking the train ride to Yamanashi, as though going on a mini-vacation trip.

Since it is the anniversary of my grandfather's death, I'd like to mark the occasion by achieving a score of over 700.
