先日、TOEICを受けてきたのですが、
自分自身でもわかるぐらい英語に慣れてきた感じです。
特にリーディングは読むスピードがだいぶ上がってきました！
数えてみたら、この 4年間で 10回も TOEIC受けてますから
さすがに会場の雰囲気や質問になれてきました。
たぶん自己ベストが出ると思うのですが、
これも日々の努力の成果だと思っています。
「学問に王道なし」です。
TOEICの後も Open Universityの
1年目の最終試験が 4月23日に迫ってきているので、
ぜんぜん息をつけません。
毎日ひたすら英語と MBAの勉強です。
でも、こうやってお尻が決まっていると
人間怠けられませんから、
やっぱり大学院に入って良かったです。
独学だとヘコたれていたでしょう・・・
試験は 40点以上で合格、
15点～39点が 10月に再試験、
15点未満が落第（1年目最初からやり直し）です。
落第したら、1年間の努力が水の泡ですから
絶対に合格します！
オックスフォードで見た"嘆きの橋"を
渡らないようにします！
できれば一発で合格、
最悪でも15点以上を獲得し、
半年後の再試験に持ち込んで時間を稼ぎ
首の皮一枚つなげようと考えています。
時間的にも、金銭的にも
落第だけはなんとしても避けなければなりません。
落第して、最初からやり直す選択は
44才の僕にはありません。
残り約1ヵ月、どれだけ集中して
真剣に勉強できるかが勝負の分かれ目です。
私たち人間は今この一瞬に集中しなければなりません。

When I took a TOEIC test the other day, I noticed that I am getting used to using English. My reading speed has particularly improved a lot.
I realised that I sat for TOEIC Test ten times in these four years when I counted. I have become accustomed to the atmosphere of the venue and the test questions indeed.
I think I will get my best score and it's a outcome of my daily studying. There is no royal road to learning.
After the TOEIC test, I must sit for a first year's final examination of Open University on 23th April. I can't rest at all.I have to devote myself to studying English and MBA everyday.
However, since there is a dead-line like that, we, human being, can't neglect. After all, I feel good that I have entered the postgraduate school. If I had studied by myself, I would have definitely been discouraged.
Performance evaluation standards: a mark of 40 and over means pass, from 15 to 39 means re-sit, and less than 15 means failure, you have to stay back in the class.
If I fail in examination, my effort this year will end up in failure. I'll definitely pass! I would not cross the bridge of grief at Oxford in UK which once I saw.
If possible, I'd like to pass the examination on my first attempt. At worst, I want to get more than 15 marks so that I don't have to waste time and retake the examination half a year later. I'm hoping to survive on thin ice. Both from the perspective of time and money, I must avoid a flunk whatever it takes. There is no choice to start all over again for me who has turned 44.
I have approximately 1 month left. How seriously I can concentrate on studying is the key to success.
We, human beings, must concentrate our minds now in this moment.
